What is this place?

a warm gun is the personal web site of multimedia artist and resident geek Ian Adams, based out of Seattle, WA. This particular page shows all posts from June, 2008.

Where is everything?

The most recently posted stuff can be found on the front page. Older posts and articles are listed, by category and date, in the archives. There is also the Link Blog, which is my (almost) daily list of interesting links and brief commentary on AWG-related topics.

Additional areas on this site can be accessed by using the navigation links on the far left. (Or far bottom if you’re visiting this site using an alternative browser like Opera Mini.)

Oops! Looks like Gen. Wesley Clark is out of the veepstakes!

On my way to an Obama “Unite for Change” meet-up at Lincoln Park. Perfect weather for it.

Huh. I guess Tom Brokaw is a couple buildings down right now interviewing Bill Gates.

I swear – my cat takes up more space on my bed than I do.

Maybe it’s a generational thing, but I’ve never been able to understand the appeal of foozball.

\m/, nm/ and other beer-ordering methods

In Chattanooga, TN there’s a Clarendon Street. I’d bet money that the street signs are not, in fact, set in Clarendon.

Reading blogs that I haven’t visited in 5 months. Like visiting old friends.

Hmm, no screenshots for Twitterific on iconfactory.com. Guess I won’t be using that app when it comes out for iPhone 2.0.

@HenryRollins tired? You? Impossible!

@wesaturtle you should tell digg.

Just saw a Delorean on my way to work. How the driver expects to get it up to 88mph in this traffic is anybody’s guess.

@danielandrews yeah, I’m going to keep using my mac.com addresses. Me.com just sounds generic.

Awesome, iPhone’s getting Dutch in iPhone 2.0! Now I can stop confusing the hell out of the spellchecker!

So why exactly is the WWDC 2008 keynote not in the newfangled “Apple Keynotes” podcast that Apple puts out?

It sure would be neat if I could sync my Safari bookmarks from home with my Safari for Windows bookmarks at work.

@danielandrews it’s because I screwed the scheme up by not having titles for my twitter posts, and I’ve been too lazy to fix it. :P

Oh yeah, that’s right—THAT’S why I voted for Obama. :)

Been waiting a long time to hear this one.

Two minutes until Obama’s speech.

Damn, Hillary, that was actually a pretty good speech.

It won’t give up, it wants me dead; goddamn this noise inside my head.

Watching ‘Grandma’s Boy’.

@danielandrews Damn, time flies! And I was even a latecomer!

@danielandrews: you’re still under warranty, aren’t you?
