Contact Information
If you have any comments about this site or its content, please feel free to email me.
I don’t always have time to respond to every email I get, but I do read everything that I receive and it can be assumed that I will, eventually, respond to you. If it takes a while to do so, please don’t take it personally; I’m just busy.
For posts on this site other than the Link Blog and those in the Last Minute category, I have comments enabled. If you want to say something that directly pertains to a post, please respond by leaving a comment on that post instead of sending me an email. If you don’t feel comfortable responding in public, just comment anonymously—it’s not like I’m going to publish your IP address and call for an Internet-wide man-hunt or anything; it’s just a blog.
Please keep in mind, however, that comments are moderated. This means that off-topic or inappopriate comments get modified or deleted at my discretion without warning, so please do not use comments on a specific post as a general contact mechanism—that’s what email is for.
When emailing, please make your subject line as descriptive as possible. This means something like “You have a typo on the Boot Camp article,” not “Hi.” Also, I use Mail.app’s built-in junk mail filter, so you’ll want to avoid subject lines that look like spam.
If you’re reading this paragraph, it means that you probably have JavaScript disabled or you are using a web browser that does not support JavaScript. The email address that should be listed in the first paragraph (but obviously isn’t, since you’re reading this paragraph) has been cleverly protected from spam harvesters using Automatic Labs’ Enkoder. which is a cool little web-based freeware tool that encodes email addresses with Javascript. So if you’re reading this, you can either turn on JavaScript—if it’s supported in your browser—or just manually enter my email address, which is ian, followed by the at symbol, followed by awarmgun.net.
Don't blame me, blame the plague that is email spam.
